One of the major purposes of Machiavelli was to return to politics. As per the view of Machiavelli’s perspective of a perfect notion of being a leader, a ruler is someone who should be feared and not reviled. The reasons that are given by the Machiavelli that are related to the way human nature administers men and provides strategic direction to them for committing a crime for the sake of achieving goals and cater to individual satisfaction (Galie & Bopst, 2006). As per the ideology of Machiavelli a leader should be both loved and feared because it cogent in that way.
